Rick Kinateder
Rick Kinateder, who is a native of Arizona, has lived in Provo, Utah since graduating from Brigham Young University in Art and Design. He initially wanted to be an architect, but his drawing and design skills led to hisfounding the premier design, architectural rendering, and model building business in the intermountain west. Rick has shared his rendering talents by teaching part-time at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. Now he is devoting his artistic talents to his fine art, teaching watercolor, and perspective workshops.
With his love of travel and nature, his art focuses on landscape painting where he loves to capture the dramatic light of the west’s famous vistas. His participation in Plein Air events have fine-tuned his award-winning watercolor and oil paintings. Rick’slove of architecture is often the focal point in hispaintings as he features famous buildings from his, and his wife Diane, travels in the US and Europe.
Rick’s art is often exhibited at the Sears Dixie Invitational, Springville Museum of Art, and other western venues and galleries. He is pleased to be represented by Brushworks Gallery.
